Spring Break at Clementine

We had a great time at our Make Way for Ducklings camp! The kids created nests, Mr and Mrs Mallard, ducklings, eggs, and watercolor scenes.  I think the pictures say everything- how fun it was, how proud everyone was of their creations, and the sheer cuteness of the projects!

Juicy Painiting

This past Sunday, March 6th, Clementine had one of our messiest workshops- Juicy Painting! The kids experimented with all different kinds of painting: finger painting, using tools (that weren't paintbrushes), creating  textures, and watercolor. Many masterpieces were created!

A finger painting in progress

'Horse' by Lily

'Mermaid' by Erin
Many dishes were also created! One of the many benefits of having your kids come to Clementine Studio is that we clean up the mess.

Clementine Studio

Owen with his self-portrait sculpture, age 5

Summer camp!

By Asa, age 5

Clementine Studio is a hands-on, multi-media program that encourages the independent exploration of age appropriate art materials in a nurturing and inspiring environment.  Paint with traditional and unique tools; explore gluing, cutting and collage materials; create 3-D sculptures from clay, dough and wood; incorporate movement in to art by flinging, drizzling and dripping paint!  Come experiment with a wide variety of high quality materials and exciting techniques and discover the wonder and magic of your child’s inner-artist!

We provide children of all ages an opportunity to explore ART freely in a comfortable and relaxed studio setting. While providing children with a variety of high-quality and exciting materials, tools and techniques, we guide children through the PROCESS of creating multi-media art, in an effort to elicit and support each child’s individual style of visual expression.

The educational partner of Clementine Studio is OpenArts (formerly Open Studios).
*Funded (in part) by a grant from the Boulder Arts Commission, an agency of the Boulder City Council.

We also offer adult and teen classes including (but not limited to) encaustic, drawing and painting. Check our website for upcoming classes at www.openartsclementine.org.
